Because I love everything about a house from the inside out, I wanted to be involved in every step of the home process and so in 2015, along with my best friend from college, I opened a home decor shop called The Estate of Things.
The Estate of Things (TEOT, pronounced Tea-Ot) is a home decor, historic renovation and lifestyle brand with a keen bi-coastal design sensibility — inspired by Southlands of the East and West Coasts. TEOT was established on a set of barstools in Southern Pines, NC in 2007, by myself and my friend Betsy Moyer.
At TEOT, we are all about the mix. Vintage with New. High with Low. Classic with Eclectic. Global Goods with Domestic Craft.
We carry a range of furnishings, accessories, art, textiles and kitchenware at our downtown Southern Pines shop and online.
We love anything Farmhouse, Cottage or Mid-century. We love boho, new traditional, we seek timelessness, we love iconic designs. We are inspired by coastal living as much as we are cabin life in the mountains.
