I have been renovating historic homes in Southern Pines, Pinehurst and Aberdeen neighborhoods for more than a decade. Renovation is something I feel passionate about and enjoy tremendously.

From conception and design to trim and polish, I love every stage. My renovation work has been covered in Huffington Post, Country Living, House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping and Pinestraw.

I’ve been fortunate to be included on many projects both big and small and many of those were chronicled extensively on my design blog, The Estate of Things. On the blog, you can scroll through the pages of eight years worth of renovation and design discussion.

Some of my projects include-

The Indiana House is a shingled 1920’s cottage that got new life on Indiana Avenue in downtown Southern Pines.

A custom cottage kitchen in a 1940s home in Southern Pines with shaker cabinets, quartzite counters, open shelving with a dash of SoCal.

Bungalow 404 was a total overhaul of a classic 1920s bungalow in downtown Aberdeen on Poplar Street.

A much needed kitchen renovation for a guest cottage at a lovely mini-estate on Mid Pines golf course in Southern Pines.

The Grout Cottage was a comprehensive renovation of a Queen Anne home built in 1895 in downtown Southern Pines on NE Broad Street.
